Events

The Banff Sailing Club has events on through out the year and tries to take part in other events held on the Moray Firth.

We have a full programme for 2025 as below.  Please get in contact with secretary@banffsailingclub.co.uk or talk to a member of the committee if you would like more information on any of the events, or have suggestions for others.

Please forgive us, our website is regularly being updated - in the meantime.
Are you looking for a new way to get outdoors and find something you can enjoy with a challenge, learning and fun?
Banff Sailing Club are once again taking part in the Royal Yachting Association (RYA) "Discover Sailing" event and are inviting members of the public to come along and try sailing for free. We are holding our open day on Saturday 10th May 2025 with the club 707’s ready for sailing. The event will likely take place from 1100-1300hr and 1400-1600hr (tide dependent), and anyone interested in trying sailing and taking up the sport should come along to Banff Marina. (to be confirmed, get in touch if you're interested) This event is open to adults; older / teenage children should be accompanied by an adult. The event is free and a great opportunity to try a new activity and enjoy some time on the water in beautiful Banff bay. You will also be able to meet members of Banff Sailing Club and find out more about us and what we do and offer.

Visit our website http://www.banffsailingclub.co.uk/ or follow us on Facebook Banff Sailing Club It would be helpful if people could let us know you are interested and coming along so please contact 707info@banffsailingclub.co.uk or 07966549101 to let us know you are coming and also if you have any questions.
